Welcome to ziu.gov.pl, the official digital gateway for Poland’s national education examination system. As the central platform of the Zintegrowany Interfejs Użytkownika (ZIU), we serve millions of students, graduates, and educational institutions across the country.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a secure, reliable, and user-friendly digital environment for managing critical examination processes. We empower students to submit their matura exam declarations online and access official results for both the egzamin maturalny and egzamin ósmoklasisty, ensuring transparency and efficiency in Poland’s education system.

• Innovation: We continuously improve our platform to handle peak demand—such as when over 368,000 users log in simultaneously during result announcements—and to streamline administrative tasks for over 62,000 educational institutions.
• Collaboration: Our work is built on strong partnerships with the Centralna Komisja Egzaminacyjna (CKE), regional Okręgowe Komisje Egzaminacyjne (OKE), and the Centrum Informatyczne Edukacji (CIE) under the Krajowy System Danych Oświatowych (KSDO).

Our History

ZIU was developed as part of Poland’s broader digital transformation in education, led by the Centrum Informatyczne Edukacji. Launched to unify and modernize the management of state examinations, the platform replaced fragmented paper-based processes with a centralized online system. Since its inception, ZIU has grown to serve over 1.1 million maturzyści and 1.6 million ósmoklasiści annually. Key milestones include the introduction of online e-deklaracja maturalna submissions each February and the exclusive release of exam results every July. Despite challenges such as server overload during peak traffic, we remain committed to enhancing capacity and user experience, ensuring that every student can access their results when it matters most.

Today, ziu.gov.pl stands as a trusted pillar of Poland’s educational infrastructure, supporting the academic journeys of millions.
